I got to answer phone calls for the first time today. Ok, maybe not under exactly the circumstances I'd have liked... I was left there all alone. I didn't really know what to tell everyone, so I just kinda winged it an waited for my manager to come back from her meeting. I was a bit flustered by the time she returned, and she was very concerned that I was unhappy, and assured me that I shouldn't worry so much, this wasn't exactly a life or death situation, after all.
