Well, the car is insured, registered, paid for, and home. This was a bit of a fiasco. Mother had to register it for me, as I was informed that my sinner status with the DMV did not include being allowed to purchase and/or transfer a title into my name. Seriously, you'd think I drove a mac truck into a nursery the way they're treating me. Since the bill of sale I received was written and signed by the daughter of the previous owner, my darling mother didn't think it would be such a problem to forge a new hand written bill of sale, what with the previous owner being deceased. For over two months. She even dropped it on the pavement and smooshed it around a little to make it look authentic. The DMV said they didn't need a bill of sale. Just as well. So, I have it. It rides kinda rough... It smells kinda weird. I guess I'll get used to it. Dad wants to take it out to smell the weird smell before I take it to work.
