I checked my Amex account online today. There was a charge on there for $18.98. It was for a parking ticket. From Avis. Dated January 13, 2003. I haven't rented a car in 11 months. I didn't, to the best of my knowledge, receive a parking ticket at that time. I can only assume that if I did, it must have been a pretty tiny ticket to have only incurred enough additional unpaid ticket fees to now cost only $18.98, AFTER Avis adds their (I'm sure there must be one) you made us do work service charge. I'll get back to you after investigating their policy for renting cars to those with sinner's licenses.
