Well, that didn't get off to a terribly good start. For any of you who'd actually gone through and placed a bet, well, I got to to work this morning and turned on the computer. I typed my username and password the Novell login prompt, and it proceeded to hang there for the next 10 minutes. I shut the computer off. I turned it back on, with the same result. I called internal help. I told them what happened. They very condescendingly requested I retry all the things I'd already done, then infomed me they'd send someone up to look at it. Baffled, they dragged it away, and gave me back the old one. They returned at around 4, when I was supposed to leave. Set it back up, and still couldn't make it work, but requested my password so they could keep on trying.
