Today's work surprise was being invited to a meeting to discuss our new "eTime" electronic timesheets. See, the payroll department apparently has this terribly large stack of paperwork to process every other week! Oh, the horror! They have to do a JOB!!! But anyway...I'm terrified. I know how new "e" *anything* goes here. When it's the customers suffering, it's one thing, but now we're talking about my paycheck. I went to the 10AM class, and by the time my coworker went to the 1PM class, they couldn't even log in to use it because they couldn't connect to the database in Maryland anymore. |
