I tried to use my credit card for an online purchase today. My bank has decided that it will no longer allow me to do this unless the 3 digit CCV code from the back of the credit card is entered, a feature which 2 of the three websites I've visited in the last day do NOT offer. I'm pretty unhappy about that. Especially since I know first hand if you call up those merchants and tell them that your card won't work on their site. I called and told them I was not at all pleased. They told me it was for my "safety". I told them that I'd use my Amex card. |
