Four days of work left, and my obnoxious boss can't seem to keep herself from making my life miserable. On Friday, moments before I was to leave for the day, she asked me to fax something to someone. Something she couldn't locate, and somehow expected I'd be able to locate. I couldn't. I called the person I was supposed to fax it to, asking why he even thought we would have it in the first place (as it's something that HE normally faxes to US, not the other way around). He asks me why I'm calling him, as he had been dealing with this through my obnoxious boss all week. I told him that the obnoxious boss asked me to fax it, but that I couldn't find it. He asked to speak to the obnoxious boss. The obnoxious boss told me that she was far too busy to talk to this person. I told the person this. I got off the phone. I left. When I came in today, she was angry that I didn't "follow up." I nodded and smiled. It's good really. In situations like this, I usually start to feel melancholy and sad about leaving, even if it's something that made me sad and miserable. I don't see this happening. |
