What is it with this desk and phone problems? We use Avaya phones, which connect to Plantronics boxes, which connect to our headsets. There's a cable that connects the Plantronics box to the headset. It has a phone jack on one end, and, well, I don't know what you'd call the jack on the other end. Nothing I've ever seen before. This cable is supposed to stay attached to the box. Someone took this cable. I asked the department that's supposed to replace things like this. They tell me they don't have spares, I'll HAVE TO FIND MINE. It was there when I left. It wasn't there when I came back. When I logged into my computer, my login was still on the login screen, so no one even used the desk. Someone must have lost theirs, and decided my desk would be a good one to take it from. So, someone else doesn't have one now. Hey, fair's fair. |
