So, a guy that I work with, who was recently hired by another department, but told that he couldn't start yet because he was on vacation when the last group of people hired started training, apparently "lost his voice". Hmm. He called in sick one day, sits playing his Nintendo DS because he "doesn't want to take resolutions away from anyone else, since (his) metrics in this department don't matter anymore", and now, suddenly, lost his voice. So, he of COURSE can't make any calls. Now, he doesn't have that scratchy, trying to talk kind of lost voice. He just, whispers all the time. But ya know, I gotta give him credit. If it was me, I bet I'd have slipped up. |
