We got an inclement weather warning email at work today, complete with a number to call to make sure work will be open tomorrow. It reminds me of the old AIP days! I didn't think this sort of thing happened in Canada though. Heck, the city of Edmonton has to be plied with riches to fire up the plows to scrape a foot of snow off the roads, and this doesn't seem to bother anyone. Well, anyone but me. And now they're talking about closing work? Exactly how much snow would THAT require? |
