It got pretty warm out today, and a whole lot of snow melted. Driving down the road, I saw an enormous puddle. A small lake. It wasn't even in my lane, but there was no missing it. MOST people were slowing down as they approached the puddle. But the guy that drove through that puddle at the same time as I drove next to it decided that he didn't want to slow down. He sent of wave of muddy water splashing up that completely covered my car. He and the puddle were on my right, but I had to windshield wipe off the mud just so I could see out of my side of the windshield. Now, I happened to be going to get gas, and get the car washed. But he didn't know that. We both pulled up to a light, now two lanes apart, as I pulled into a left turn lane to get to the gas station. It was the first time I actually went out of my way to beep the horn to get someone's attention to flip them off. |
